Position Overview:
Get Real Consulting is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to serve as a Jr. Web Designer within our growing Production team.
The ideal candidate for this position should be organized, professional and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. A web-savvy generalist would be a good fit for this role, and the most successful candidates will possess a broad skill set and demonstrable experience in the following:
- website configuration and maintenance
- client interaction, support and management
- business analysis and strategy
- graphic design and/or user experience design
While the role requires the responsibilities defined below, it also provides the flexibility for the candidate to grow and contribute to other company initiatives and client projects.
Nearly all of our current clients are health or healthcare-related. The ideal candidates will possess either experience in this field or a general interest in the subject matter.
Major Activities:
- Support cross-departmental teams in customizing client web portals, including content and interactive tools, via our proprietary content management system
- Collect internal and client business requirements and translate into internal and client-facing documentation
- Interact with clients to define, implement and test website functionality
- Contribute strategic recommendations to internal staff for product enhancements
- Conduct internal testing of new functionality
- Maintain Get Real Consulting’s corporate website
- Contribute to new business initiatives, including proposals, pitches and demos
Desired Experience:
- Managing websites via online content management systems
- Interacting with clients or customers in a service-oriented environment
- Basic to intermediate graphic design is preferred
Desired Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and contribute to new ideas
- Strong organizational skills
- Appreciation of user-centric web design
